Structured Interviews
Questions and answers
There are a number of benefits offered by using structured interviews over other types of job interviews. Structured interviews have a high degree of validity because each interview question is tied directly to a job-related competency. This leads candidates to view the interview as being fair. Fairness is also ensured by having each candidate answer the same questions in the same order, which also allows for the interview to have a high degree of reliability. All of these factors contribute to structured interviews meeting the legal and professional standards for assessment methods.
