In accordance with 5 CFR 330.207(a), RPL registration is limited to the local commuting area in which the eligible was, or will be, separated.  Traditionally this would be the local commuting area of the agency worksite from which the employee was or will be separated.   

 

For remote employees, RPL registration will be the local commuting area based on the employee’s agency approved alternative worksite
