Questions and answers

• Be honest. Answer questions completely truthfully.
• Prepare. Start gathering information needed to submit the required forms and information. Providing information that is as complete and accurate as possible will help the investigation be completed in an efficient and timely manner. Some examples of information to gather include:
• Employment history, including dates of employment and location
• Addresses and length of residency (month/year)
• Educational history – schools you attended as well as dates, degrees (month/year)
• Review your resume. Ensure the information contained in your resume that you submitted in the application process is factual and there are no inaccuracies.
• References. Contact your references, including former supervisors, to ensure you have the correct contact information (e.g., phone number and email). Also, give your references advanced notice if you know they will be contacted.
