Questions and answers

There is a six-step process to start your project.

  1. Develop a Statement of Objectives (SOO) – VMB will provide a template to help you develop the SOO.
  2. Complete an Inter-Agency Agreement (IAA) – VMB will provide you with the Treasury forms 7600 A&B to establish an agreement between us,  along with any funding documents you require to process your funds.
  3. Select a Contractor – Our Contracting Officer and you will evaluate proposals submitted by the contractors, based on your SOO.
  4. Attend a Project Kick-Off Meeting – After selecting your contractor, you will meet with your contractor to discuss your project in detail and provide additional information for your contractor to develop the Management Plan.
  5. Review and Approve the Management Plan – After the contractor submits the Management Plan, you will review for accuracy and approve the Management Plan. This will allow the contractor to begin work on the project.
  6. Manage the Project – With the assistance and guidance of the VMB Program Manager, your POC and the contractor POC, your contractor will perform work on all related tasks to complete this project.
