Questions and answers
There is a six-step process to start your project.
- Develop a Statement of Objectives (SOO) – VMB will provide a template to help you develop the SOO.
- Complete an Inter-Agency Agreement (IAA) – VMB will provide you with the Treasury forms 7600 A&B to establish an agreement between us, along with any funding documents you require to process your funds.
- Select a Contractor – Our Contracting Officer and you will evaluate proposals submitted by the contractors, based on your SOO.
- Attend a Project Kick-Off Meeting – After selecting your contractor, you will meet with your contractor to discuss your project in detail and provide additional information for your contractor to develop the Management Plan.
- Review and Approve the Management Plan – After the contractor submits the Management Plan, you will review for accuracy and approve the Management Plan. This will allow the contractor to begin work on the project.
- Manage the Project – With the assistance and guidance of the VMB Program Manager, your POC and the contractor POC, your contractor will perform work on all related tasks to complete this project.
