What would you tell someone who asked you why they should think about a career in public service?

“I think the reason to have a career in public service is if you really want to make a difference.  At the Federal level, you get to make a difference all across the country.”

Why does it matter that the Federal workforce be a diverse and inclusive one?

“When you have a diverse workforce, you have a variety of views and opinions around the table. When you’re trying to solve tough problems, you get better solutions.  We want to find the best solutions.”
