How to undo changes and rollback to previous content

Need to start over on the changes you made? Learn how to rollback to previous versions of your content below.

How to rollback content

  1. Select the Info tab and open the Rollback panel

Select the Info tab in the top right of the screen, then open the Rollback panel by clicking the rollback button.

Screenshot of the info tab of an example page. The info button is located at the top right of screen. In the middle of the screen, after the URLs and redirects are listed, there is a Rollback button.

  2. Choose the page version you'd like to revert to

Use the dropdown menu to select a prior version. Prior versions are organized by date, time, and the user that made the change.

Screenshot the po-up that appears after hitting the Rollback button. A dropdown list appears of previous page versions to select from.

  3. Compare changes against current version

Changes between your current version and the select version you want to revert to will be in red (strikethrough) and green. You may check other versions using the "Rollback to" dropdown.

After a version is selected, a screen will appear with the content of the version you selected. Additions to the content are shaded (green) while deletions are crossed out and shaded (red). You can select other versions from this screen. There is a green rollback button at the bottom.

  4. Rollback to selected version

Click the "Rollback" button at the bottom of the panel to confirm your selected version is the one you'd like to go back to.

This will restore your selected version in the CMS, but will not publish it to the website.
