Federal Workforce Data (FWD)
The Office of Personnel Management is the focal point for providing statistical information about the Federal civilian workforce. To satisfy customer's need for workforce data, Federal Workforce Data (FWD) was launched in January 2026. This online tool allows customers to access and analyze data elements from OPM's Enterprise Human Resources Integration. FWD is used by Federal government agencies, the White House, researchers, the media, and the general public to review and research information on Federal workforce data statistics.
