Reasonable Accommodation

Federal agencies are required by law to provide reasonable accommodation to qualified employees with disabilities. The regulations implementing the law in this area are issued by the U. S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). For more information, visit the EEOC's website.

The U. S. Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) also have a website available linking agencies to the Job Accommodation Network (JAN). The ODEP site also features other disability-related employment resources.
